IBPS RRB Main Exam 2017:: Check Officer Scale I, II, III Exam Paper Pattern & Other Important Instructions – Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, IBPS would be conducting the IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Main Examination as well as RRB Officer Scale-II and III Single examinations 2017 on November 5, 2017. Candidates who have qualified for the officer scale I examination and applied for the Scale II and III posts would be required to write the main examination on the coming Sunday 12th November 2017. IBPS is likely to issue the RRB Main Examination instructions tomorrow on the official website ibps.in. So we would advise candidates to go through the instructions. In this article, we have provided in detail other instructions and paper pattern below.
Candidates should ensure that they have downloaded their IBPS RRB Main examination Admit Cards. In case candidates have not yet downloaded the admit cards, they are advised to do so at the earliest. IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Main Exam Paper Pattern
The IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Main Exam Paper will be of 2 Hours (120 Minutes) with total 200 Questions.The Questions for Officer Scale I Main Examination will comprise of
- Quantitative Aptitude
- General Awareness
- English or Hindi Language
- Computer Knowledge
Each Section would contain 40 questions each. Reasoning and Quantitative aptitude would be of 50 marks each while general awareness and language section would carry 40 marks each. Computer Knowledge section would contain 40 questions for a total of 20 marks, bringing the total to 200 marks. The same is tabulated below.
IBPS RRB Officer Scale II Main Exam Paper Pattern (Single Examination – Objective Type)
RRB Officer Scale II posts are for General Banking Officer. The Paper Pattern for Officer Scale II would be similar to that of RRB Officer Scale I examination. The timespan will be of 2 hours (120 minutes) to attempt a total of 200 questions totalling 200 marks. The Exam Paper Pattern would be similar to that of the Officer Scale I only instead of general awareness, financial awareness would be the focus.
IBPS RRB Officer Scale III (Specialist Cadre & General) Main Exam Paper Pattern
Candidates who have applied for the Officer Scale III Specialist Cadre posts would be given 2 hours 30 minutes to attempt 240 questions. However, the total marks for the 240 questions would be 200. Apart from the sections mentioned above, candidates in Specialist Cadre would be asked 40 questions related to the special professional knowledge. The candidates who have applied for Officer Scale III general category would have a similar pattern. The same is provided below.
RRB Officer Scale I, II and III Exam on November 5 – Important Instruction
Candidates should also check out for the detailed instructions mentioned on the official website. Candidates should also note that they are required to provide the thumb impression on the admit card in front of the invigilator at the examination hall. In case a candidate has erroneously signed or placed the thumbprint, he or she should download the admit card again from the official website.
Also, candidates are required to carry a copy of a photo id proof as well as the same photo id card to the examination center. It is important to note that candidates who are not carrying the Originals of the Photo Id Proof would not be allowed to enter the examination centers.
